Paediatric ENT disorders

Disorders of the ears, nose and throat are some of the most common diseases to affect children. This is partly because their immune system is still immature, making them more prone to developing infections, and partly due to the underdeveloped anatomy of a child's ENT systems as shown in the diagrams below which compare the Eustachian tubes and airways of children versus adults.
